Arkansans celebrate the return of the Capital City Classic

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Downtown Little Rock was busy Saturday morning thanks to the Capital City Classic.

Runners went through North Little Rock and downtown Little Rock for the 6.2-mile race, which was put on by the Little Rock Road Runners.

Capital City Classic 10K race coming back to Little Rock metro

This was the first time back on the course since 2022, the 2023 race was canceled due to the March 31 tornado.

More than 1,000 people showed up for Saturday’s race, and this was the first-time medals were given out.
