DOUG DUCEY: Voting is one of the most important rights and responsibilities in our democracy, and I want to thank Arizonans for making their voices heard and voting in record numbers. The votes have been tabulated. All 15 counties have certified their results. In addition to certification with Senator-elect Mark Kelly winning the general election, I will be signing official documentation today that will be hand delivered to the Secretary of the United States Senate so that Arizona's newest senator can be sworn into office as swiftly as possible. And with that, let's get to work.

KATIE HOBBS: All right. Thank you, Governor Ducey. With that, I will sign this canvass document, which contains Arizona's official results for the 2020 general election based on the official canvasses from each of the 15 counties. After I sign the canvass, I will pass it to you, Governor Ducey, the attorney general, and the chief justice, who will place their affirming signatures on the document as well, and then the elections director will place the state seal on the document. Just those two.
