Ariana Grande responds to terrorist attack at her gig
Ariana Grande has responded after the explosion at her Manchester Arena concert on Monday night (May 22).
22 people have been confirmed dead, including children, with at least 59 others injured – and police are treating it as a terrorist incident.
Ariana wrote on Twitter: "broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don't have words."

Grande's manager Scooter Braun also shared a statement via Twitter echoing Ariana's sentiments, writing that "our hearts are broken".

The 21,000-seater venue was hosting a stop on Ariana's 'Dangerous Woman Tour' when witnesses reported hearing a "huge bang" after Grande had left the stage.
Greater Manchester Police chief constable Ian Hopkins confirmed that 22 people died in the attack, including children, with 59 injured, and explained that the attack was carried out by a lone man, who died at the scene.
In a statement to press, he said: "This has been the most horrific incident we have had to face in Greater Manchester and one that we all hoped we would never see.

"Families and many young people were out to enjoy a concert at the Manchester Arena and have lost their lives. Our thoughts are with those 22 victims that we now know have died, the 59 people who have been injured and their loved ones.
"We continue to do all we can to support them. They are being treated at eight hospitals across Greater Manchester."

Andy Burnham, only elected Mayor of Greater Manchester earlier this month, said: "My heart goes out to families who have lost loved ones, my admiration to our brave emergency services. A terrible night for our great city."
Prime Minister Theresa May also paid tribute to the victims and families of those involved in "what is being treated by the police as an appalling terrorist attack".
