Ariana Grande's Fans Call Her Out for Sleeping with Her Makeup On — and Her Clapback Is Epic

Ariana Grande‘s fans aren’t freaking out over her latest chart-topping hit single. Right now, they’re going wild over the fact that the pop star went to bed with her makeup on.

Grande’s eagle-eyed fans noticed the skincare faux pas when the “7 Rings” singer posted a selfie this past weekend as she was waking up with smudged black eye makeup still on her face. Her fans quickly pointed out on Twitter that doing so can lead to clogged pores and breakouts.

“I forget to remind y’all about your skincare ONE night and not only do YOU ALL fail me but ARIANA GRANDE HERSELF LEAVES HER EYE MAKEUP ON… I’m staying on y’all necks for the rest of eternity don’t ever complain again!!!!!!!!!!!!” one of Grande’s fans jokingly wrote on Twitter.

Although she appeared to keep her eye makeup on, Grande replied to the fan implying that she did remove her face makeup because she “still exfoliated and did a la mer mask.”

Grande added, “LEAVE ME ALONE SIS.” After another fan replied to the star writing, “Oooo you’re in trouble,” Grande hilariously said: “IT WONT HAPPEN AGAIN.”

Once the pop star apologized for her makeup mishap, she told fans what products she uses to remove her makeup daily and asked if she was doing the skincare step correctly.

“I USE NEUTROGENA WIPES AND COCONUT OIL IF MY LASH GLUE IS BEING ANNOYING PLS DONT,” Grande wrote.

She continued in a separate tweet, “and the burt’s bees wipes. am i all the way wrong ? i’m so sorry pls help me.”

Grande previously told InStyle that although she always tried to cleanse her skin before bed, sometimes she just isn’t able to.

“I try not to fall asleep with my makeup on ever,” she said. “But I fail all the time, I think everybody does.”

She reiterated the sentiment in an interview with Byrdie. “I know it’s hard because we get tired, but scrubbing your face, washing your face — taking a towel in the shower and actually scrubbing your face — and then moisturizing [is so important],” Grande said.
