Argument between Vallejo roommates leads to 1 arrest

(KRON) — An argument between roommates in Vallejo spiraled into a shooting, police said. One of the roommates called 911 on April 20 to report that the second roommate fired a gun inside their house on Tennessee Street.

No one was injured by gunfire, and officers found the suspected shooter outside. “Through the use of de-escalation techniques, they were able to apprehend him without any further violence,” the Vallejo Police Department wrote.

The arrested man admitted that he fired his gun, VPD said. “He explained that he was suffering from alcohol withdrawal and he was upset. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into Solano County Jail,” police said.

VPD did not release the arrested man’s name.
