Argentine teachers go on strike against the government's cuts

Argentina's social discontent was evident again on Thursday as teachers went on a national strike demanding a salary increase amid soaring inflation. It was the third strike in the education sector since the ultra-liberal Javier Milei assumed the presidency in December. The 24-hour strike affected all educational levels, from preschool to university, although it did not have the same impact in all districts. (AP video by Victor R. Caivano)
