Area high schools get ready for graduation ceremonies

As the school year winds down, the Class of 2024 is getting ready to receive their diplomas and celebrate with their family and friends.

Here’s where and when schools in Charlevoix and Emmet counties will be having graduation ceremonies:

  • Alanson Public School: 6 p.m. May 31 at the high school gym

  • Beaver Island Community School: 1 p.m. June 8 at Beaver Island Community School

  • Boyne City High School: 4 p.m. June 2 at Boyne City High School

  • Char-Em ISD Special Education: 1 p.m. June 4 at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts

  • Concord Academy Boyne: 2 p.m. June 2 at Concord Academy Boyne

  • Concord Academy Petoskey: 2 p.m. June 2 at Voorheis Hall in Bay View

  • Char-Em ISD Alternative Education programs: 11 a.m. June 4 at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts

  • East Jordan High School: 2 p.m. June 2 at East Jordan High School

  • Harbor Springs High School: 2:30 p.m. June 2 at Ottawa Stadium
