ARDOT: Multiple crashes affecting I-49

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Arkansas Department of Transportation has reported multiple crashes throughout this rainy morning on I-49 North and South.

The latest incidents on I-49 have not greatly impacted traffic. No injuries were reported in any of the accidents. Below are images of the morning commute incidents.


An accident near Wagon Wheel Exit 76 Southbound was reported at 7:29 a.m. Below is an image of a car that went off the road. The accident was cleared at 8:22 a.m.

An accident reported right after 6 a.m. is causing traffic to almost standstill as seen in the ARDOT traffic cameras near Exit 69 Southbound. The accident was cleared at 7:39 a.m. and traffic is steadily moving.
