Weather officials do not anticipate widespread flooding from these showers.

While the rain is expected to be moderate on Thursday and Friday, the cold temperatures will also bring snowfall to Bay Area peaks. In the East Bay, between 3 and 6 inches of snow is forecast to fall in higher elevations, NWS said. The North Bay and Santa Cruz Mountains could see up to 3 inches.
