Applications open for Berea Craft Festival

Feb. 12—Applications for the 2024 Berea Craft Festival opened.

The Berea Craft Festival brings in over 100 artists from across the United States every year for a weekend in July. The festival also brings in entertainers, as Berea is rich in its music history along with art scene.

This will be the 43rd year for the festival.

Last year, 112 vendors from all over the country, including 36 newcomers, showed off their craft at the event.

The festival shows off products such as clay, fiber art, mixed media, stained glass, weaving, and so much more.

During the festival last year, artisans also were there demonstrating blacksmithing, wool dying, weaving, and jewelry making.

The festival will take place at the Indian Fort Theater in the Berea College Forest from July 12th to July 14th.

Tickets are free for children 12 and under while the cost is $6 for adults and $5 for senior citizens.

The festival is also looking for food vendors and entertainers to apply to be part of the show as well.
