Apple Valley Animal Shelter to host 'Fast & Furrious' car show and pet adoption event
Apple Valley Animal Services is inviting the community to a day of vintage vehicles and furry friends at the upcoming "Fast & Furrious Car Show and Adoption Event" in May.
The festivities will unfold beginning at 9 a.m. on May 18 at the Apple Valley Animal Shelter, 22131 Powhatan Road, organizers said. Vehicle check-in for display cars will begin at 8 a.m., and no cars will be admitted after 9:45 a.m.
Live music and food are also planned.
Anyone interested in entering a vintage car into the show must register in advance, according to animal services officials. Registration will cost $20, or $25 with an included event T-shirt and lunch.
All vehicles must remain stationed at the event until the end of the show at 2 p.m.
Entries should include a check made payable to the Apple Valley Community Resources Foundation and mailed to Apple Valley Animal Services – Fast & Furrious, 14955 Dale Evans Parkway, Apple Valley, CA 92307.
All profits from the event will benefit the animals at the Apple Valley Animal Shelter.
