Apple Black Friday deals 2018: Best UK discounts, including iPhone XR, 9.7" iPad and Apple Watch
The wait is over. Black Friday has returned for its annual installment of sell-out deals and the chance to buy reduced Apple products including has once again arrived.
The iPhone XS, XS Max and XR are set to be the bestsellers of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday period; plus, many retailers have iPads, MacBooks and Apple accessories on sale as well.
While Apple does not forgo Black Friday and Cyber Monday completely, it doesn't follow the crowd: in recent years the retailer decided to offer gift cards over discounts, incentivising full-price products with up to £120 in gift cards.
As has happened in previous years, third-party retailers are offering more substantial savings than the Apple Store itself. This is The Telegraph's selection of the best Apple Black Friday deals across the board.
Best Black Friday iPhone deals
Apple iPhone XR
From £36 per month with 100GB of data, no upfront fee from Mobiles.co.uk
The iPhone XR is Apple's latest model. It is slightly cheaper than the iPhone XS, but includes features like an all-screen front design and a powerful processor. It has also been the one new iPhone to see significant deals and price cuts on Black Friday. Mobiles.co.uk, part of Dixons Carphone, has cut the price to £36 per month with a massive 100GB of data. To get this on a normal network, similar offers we have found see you paying at least £50 up front or around £59 per month, so this is the iPhone deal to beat so far.

You can pick up the iPhone 7 from GiffGaff for just £399, making this smartphone a relatively well-priced alternative to Apple's new iPhone XS models or the iPhone 8. It comes with the latest operating system, iOS 12, with new power saving features and screen time monitors to keep you from binge-viewing social media.
Apple iPhone 8 64 GB
£38 a month with £29.99 upfront cost from Carphone Warehouse
While the iPhone 8 isn't the latest model in the Apple family, the phone still boasts a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, a 12MP camera, a 7MP front-facing lens and Touch ID.
As part of their Black Friday sale, Carphone Warehouse is currently offering an O2 contract with 30 GB of 4G data, unlimited minutes and unlimited texts. This deal saves you £100 on the overall price of the contract deal.
Apple iPhone 8 64 GB
With the iPhone X sticking to a steep price tag, those looking for a still-fresh and feature-packed iPhone should consider this Argos offer. As well as the improved 12MP rear camera and 7MP front-facing camera, the iPhone 8 model boasts wireless charging capabilities and an attractive but toughened all-glass design.
This Sim-free deal is the lowest ever price that Argos have sold the 64 GB iPhone 8, and includes Space Grey, Gold and Silver models.
iPhone XR 64GB
Was £225 upfront, now £175 upfront, £34 per month from Mobiles.co.uk
For those looking to buy a new phone this Black Friday, you could do a lot worse than the new iPhone XR. It is slightly less premium than the £1,449 iPhone XS, but also doesn't cost nearly as much. This particular deal is a great one, offering the phone for just £175 up front at £34 per month. It comes from trusted deals site Mobiles.co.uk, which regularly undercuts the major networks and retailers.
The price has been cut from £225, but you will need to enter the discount code OMD50. Telegraph Recommended was very complimentary about the iPhone XR saying: "If you’re looking to buy a brand new iPhone but you can’t justify the eye-watering prices of the iPhone XS, then consider the iPhone XR. It is essentially exactly the same as the other two but considerably cheaper." This deal is only running until midnight, so hurry to get it.
Apple iPhone 8 256 GB
The selling point with this deal is the 256 GB you can bag for £649. Still cheaper than Apple's latest iPhone model, but you'd be unwise to ignore this if memory is your sticking point. Begin downloading all those apps you never had the room for.

The iPad is the ultimate office status symbol. If you've got an iPad, people know you're a force to be reckoned with. Obviously it also helps that, you know, the iPad is just a really, really good tablet. It's perfectly balanced to do everything you need from reading eBooks to word processing to staying in touch with friends and family. The discount on this one may not be massive, but the device did only come out a few months ago, so it's nice to find any deals on it at all!
If you're looking for something just a bit bigger, Currys are also selling the 2017 edition of the iPad Pro starting at £569, a reduction of £50. This is technically an outdated model, now that the new one has been revealed, but that doesn't mean there's not lots to love about it! Our reviewer, James Titcomb, wrote: "The screen is gorgeous and it has loads of power – more, I suspect, than the apps designed for this thing can make use of. In truth, I can find very little to fault it."

Described in our Telegraph review as Apple’s Goldilocks tablet: not too big, not too small, but just right, this is definitely the best tablet Apple has made. It first hit the shelves last year, and is slimmer than its predecessors, with more power and an improved screen.
