'True Romance' Soundtrack Gets Vinyl Reissue, Huge Box Set

The Quentin Tarantino-written, Tony Scott-directed film gets a soundtrack release for its 25th anniversary

In between his classic 1992 film Reservoir Dogs and his hit 1994 film Pulp Fiction, Quentin Tarantino wrote the 1993 film True Romance (which was directed by Tony Scott).Now, to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary, the soundtrack will be officially released on vinyl via Wargod/Real Gone Music. Check out the tracklist—which features songs by Soundgarden, Robert Palmer, Hans Zimmer, and others—below. A deluxe box set comes packed with tons of goodies, including an autograph from Michael Rapaport, enamel pins, a slipmat with True Romance art, two pairs of sunglasses, mugshots, a fake license for Christian Slater’s character, postcards, a hotel napkin, and more. In True Romance, Clarence (Slater) marries Alabama (Patricia Arquette) and the two escape to Hollywood after angering her pimp. The film also stars Brad Pitt, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, James Gandolfini, and Michael Rapaport.
