'Partridge Family' Star David Cassidy Moved to ICU as He Suffers Organ Failure
David Cassidy, widely known for his character on the 70s hit show The Partridge Family, is in critical condition with organ failure, reports said. On Sunday, he was reportedly moved to the ICU.
Cassidy is being treated at a Florida area hospital, the star’s publicist told CNN. He reportedly needs a kidney transplant.

"He is conscious and surrounded by family and friends, nothing is imminent and we are taking it day by day," Cassidy’s publicist, Jo-Ann Geffen, told the station. He is also reportedly on a breathing tube.
The 67-year-old announced he has been battling dementia earlier this year.
Cassidy shot to fame playing Keith Partridge on The Partridge Family, sitcom about a mother and five children who formed a rock and roll band.
He then went on to have a successful solo career as a singer.
In more recent years, Cassidy has battled with alcohol addiction which he has openly talked about.
He was arrested for driving under the influence three times from 2010 and 2014. He filed for bankruptcy in 2015.
He called his struggle “very humbling” but also “humiliating” in 2014 interview with CNN.

The star, who has been divorced three times, was ordered by the court to go to rehab.
