After announcing their divorce in December, fans have been eagerly anticipating news about the future of Christina and Tarek El Moussa's HGTV show, Flip or Flop. Finally, the wait is over-we can all now officially look forward to more house-flipping fun from the pair.

The El Moussas have agreed to work together and film season eight of their hit HGTV series, which will premiere in December 2017, according to People. The separated couple will continue to renovate and sell homes together on the series, despite their pending divorce.

"Tarek and I have been working together for a long time and we look forward to continuing to work together on Flip or Flop," Christina told People. Tarek seemed equally happy to move forward filming the show together: "From the beginning, HGTV has shown Christina and me tremendous support and we are excited to go out there and flip many more houses for Flip or Flop."

The news comes after a whirlwind few months for the couple and their public divorce. The husband-and-wife team, who split in May, didn't share the news with fans until late last year. For months after the announcement, HGTV continued to air promos featuring the couple together and new episodes of their television series. The network even announced a series of Flip or Flop spinoff series in cities across the country-all while fans were left wondering what would happen to the original show.

Tarek now lives in Newport Beach, while the couple continues to work together as business partners and parents to their two children, 6-year-old Taylor and 20-month-old Brayden. There's no word on how many episodes we can expect from season eight, or if their dynamic will change on the show, but we can't wait to find out.
