'NCIS' Star Pauley Perrette Claims She's a Victim of Skin Care Ads
Pauley Perrette may play a crime-solving scientist on NCIS, but now she's looking to solve a real-life mystery where she says she's the victim.

The 48-year-old star, known for her flawless complexion, is featured in skin care ads that claim she uses and endorses the product.
“It’s a fake company,” she told Inside Edition. “It’s a scam.”
An ad disguised as a news article even claims she is leaving NCIS to pursue a skin care line. The actress says none of this is true.
“I have people, hundreds and hundreds of people, asking questions about why I would pick a skin care line over my job,” she said.
Perrette said the ad is “very convincing” and “looks real.”
Inside Edition ordered one of the products online. The ad promised a free sample, but the Inside Edition company credit card was billed for $89.

After examining the fine print, Inside Edition discovered that the first order signs you up for a monthly $89 subscription fee.
“People are getting scammed and no one can catch these people,” Perrette said.

The reason it is difficult to track them down is because the name of the product seems to change constantly.
As far as what Perrette uses on her skin, she says it's just soap and baby oil.
Inside Edition contacted all of the companies that Perrette says has been using her name and they all denied selling the skin cream.
The company from which Inside Edition ordered the product did reimburse our money.
