Some of this year's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here have had their vegan statuses clarified by friends, family, and fans.

Earlier this week, it was reported by various media outlets that Sair Khan, Fleur East, and James McVey would not be taking part in any eating trials during their time on the ITV reality show due to their vegan lifestyles.

Nonetheless, there was some confusion online when Fleur could be spotted preparing wallaby for dinner during Monday night's episode (November 19), while Sair Khan could also be seen eating the dinner, and commenting on eating emu the previous evening.

So, are this lot actually vegan?

The answer seems to be: no.

In response to fan queries, family members of Sair Khan clarified that she is actually not vegan in a tweet posted on Monday night (November 19).

"Oh, and by the way - Sair isn't vegetarian or vegan," the tweet said. "We've no idea where that came from."

So, what about James and Fleur?

Well, while he does eat dairy and eggs, James McVey does not eat meat and did not actually eat any of the wallaby featured.

The fact was clarified by his own Twitter account after the episode aired.

And finally; as investigated and then pointed out by one Twitter user; Fleur East previously adopted a vegan diet for health rather than ethical reasons, so it's not clear whether she'll continue that practice in the jungle.

Phew!

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here continues on Tuesday (November 20) at 9pm on ITV, followed by Extra Camp at 10pm on ITV2.
