'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days': Actress Kate Hudson joins roasting of Anthony Scaramucci's dismissal
Donald Trump's firing of Anthony Scaramucci sent social media into a frenzy on Monday, with Hollywood actress Kate Hudson among those to poke fun at the communications director's brief stint in the White House.
Mr Scaramucci was axed on just his 11th day in the job and hours after Mr Trump installed a new chief of staff.
Among the first memes to do the rounds on Twitter was a reference to Hudson's 2003 romantic comedy "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days."
"Box office results are in! The #1 comedy in America!" the actress wrote on Instagram, along with a mocked up movie poster showing Mr Trump and Mr Scaramucci.

There's a fan review of the movie 'How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days' on #IMDB by someone named Scaramouche2004. We should have seen this coming.

There were numerous other TV references, with even former Mexican president Vicente Fox Quesada comparing the dismissal to a reality show.
Hey Trump, I'm watching this really bad reality TV show with low ratings called Survivor White House. I can't change the channel. Sad!

On the Apprentice, Trump fired someone every 2 days.

Despite how eventful this season of the apprentice is, I really hope for our/the worlds sake it's not renewed for another season #Scaramucci

Mr Scaramucci was likened to Austin Powers' Mini-Me character.
Scaramucci's brief tenure as Comm Director won't give us years of cringe-worthy interviews or leaking about leakers
But it did give us this: pic.twitter.com/ckK40IXUHM— Noah Kinsey (@thenoahkinsey) July 31, 2017
Goodbye #Scaramucci you shall always be my Mini Me but You're Fired!#Resistpic.twitter.com/ataHrGIeNQ

The frequent hirings and firing in the White House were highlighted.
If #Trump really stays for 4 years, every single American will have had a job in this #WhiteHouseChaos for a couple of days...#Scaramuccipic.twitter.com/VUl9bDgNOU

And what had lasted longer than Mr Scaramucci's time in the White House? Mostly stunts by magician David Blaine.
David Blaine has held his breath underwater longer than #Scaramucci lasted in the White House

David Blaine has been buried alive longer than Scaramucci's tenure.

Scaramucci's tenure:
• 34 days fewer than David Blaine was in that box
• 5 days shorter than "Linsanity"
• 1/3 of the average Toyotathon— David Singer (@DSArrows) July 31, 2017

And Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody song - itself almost as long as Scaramucci's tenure - was a recurring theme.
