'Kill list' leads to Walworth County student's suspension

A-12-year-old girl has been suspended after a "kill list" was found at Williams Bay Middle School.

Police said the suspect's parents wouldn't let them interview their daughter, so the investigation has been turned over to Walworth County Health and Human Services to decide if there will be criminal charges.

Police have posted officers at the school for the foreseeable future.

Ronnie Stocking, whose daughter's name was on the kill list, hasn't allowed his daughter back at school this week.

"For the first time in my life, I couldn't tell my daughter that you're going to be safe," Stocking said.

The family is also not staying at their house until they know they're safe.

The school district said the girl who created the "kill list" could be expelled depending on the results of an upcoming school board hearing.
