'The Goldbergs' Actor Jackson Odell Found Dead at 20: 'He Will Always Be a Shining Light'
Singer-songwriter and actor Jackson Odell, known for his roles in "iCarly" and "The Goldbergs," has died at age 20.
Officials say Odell was discovered unresponsive in a Los Angeles home Friday.
While the cause of death remains unclear, officials say they’ve ruled out foul play.
Odell played Ari Caldwell on ABC’s “The Goldbergs” from 2013 to 2015.
Before that, the young star had roles in "The Fosters," "Arrested Development" and Nickelodeon’s hit show, "iCarly."
In addition to his acting, Odell was a talented singer-songwriter who most recently wrote songs for the film “Forever My Girl.”
Odell’s family confirmed the star’s death in a statement.
"He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul," it read.
