APD arrests Auburn man on charges of burglary
AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) – Auburn Police arrested 19-year-old John Howard Jr. on felony warrants, April 10, and charged him with unlawfully breaking and entering into a vehicle and second-degree property theft.
The arrest is in connection with a call Auburn Police received regarding an auto theft on March 27. Officers spoke with the victim who stated their vehicle was parked near the 500 block of Webster Road between March 26 and 27, during that time someone broke into the vehicle and stole property.
After further investigation into the burglary, Auburn Police developed Howard Jr. into a suspect and arrest warrants were obtained.
After the arrest on April 10, Howard Jr. was transported to Lee County Jail, and a bond was set at $6,000.
