New apartment complex in Ocala
Ocala is home to businesses, commerce, fine dinning, arts and culture.
Now, it has opened its arms to another new adventure: A new hotel.
Here's what we know about the new adventure:
What? According to a press release, "stayAPT Suites" is "an apartment-style hotel brand" that "offers 76 well-appointed suites spread across three stories, each featuring a living room, full-size kitchen and a separate bedroom."
Where? 3509 W. Silver Springs Blvd.
Any special features? Yes. Amenities include a sleeper sofa, wall-mounted smart TV, kitchen with appliances, outdoor courtyard that has a built-in grill station and fitness center, the release notes.
What does corporate officials say about the location? They point to the location close proximity to several popular spots, such as the World Equestrian Center, the Paddock Mall and nearby hospitals.
Does the hotel chain have plans for other areas in Florida? Yes. Corporate officials said they plan to open hotels further north in Pensacola and Tallahassee. Officials said they plan to have more than 40 hotels at the end of year.
