Muslims are celebrating the Eid al-Fitr holiday marking the end of Ramadan. The holy month devoted to worship, repentance and daytime fasting ended on Monday in Indonesia, across the Middle East and elsewhere, while observant Muslims in India and many Asian countries began celebrating Eid on Tuesday.

Muslims gather with their families, celebrating the three-day holiday with feasts and prayers.
