Aon raises quarterly dividend by 11 percent
Insurance brokerage Aon boosts quarterly dividend by 11 percent to 17.5 cents per share
NEW YORK (AP) -- Insurance brokerage Aon PLC is raising its quarterly dividend by 11 percent to 17.5 cents per share from 15.75 cents per share.
The London company said Monday that the dividend will be paid May 15 to shareholders of record on May 1.
In February Aon reported that its fourth-quarter net income climbed 10 percent as its revenue grew and savings from its restructuring increased.
Aon's stock fell 18 cents to $62.44 in midday trading.
