Anthony Weiner Caught on Camera Filming Campaign Ads

Anthony Weiner was spotted on Thursday filming pretty much exactly the kind of ad you'd expect him to air if he runs for mayor of New York: sitting on the stoop of his childhood home in Brooklyn with his loving wife at his side. In the last few months, Weiner has given several confessional interviews since his Twitter scandal, and admitted that he's considering running for office again. NBC 4 New York's Melissa Russo reports that "a camera crew and several other handlers looked on" as Weiner sat in shirtsleeves and a tie next to wife Huma Abedin in the Park Slope neighborhood. It's standard operating procedure for a post-sex scandal politician to do a humanizing ad with their spouse at their side. Once NBC noticed the Weiner crew, they packed up and left.
