Ant McPartlin has confirmed that he has become a dad after wife Anne-Marie Corbett gave birth to their first child together.

The TV presenter, took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that they had welcomed a little boy earlier today named Wilder Patrick McPartlin.

He also gave a first glimpse of the tot in a black and white image showing him cradling his son.

“Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess!” he captioned the post.

The baby marks McPartlin’s first while Corbin has two children from her previous marriage.

McPartlin’s Instagram image also shows off for the first time an intricate tree tattoo on his shoulder with sweet dedications to his stepchildren and their pet dogs, Milo and Bumble.

McPartlin’s famous friends were quick to offer their congratulations and well wishes in the comments section.

“Arggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!! This is AMAZING !!!! Congratulations to ALL of you,” wrote Davina McCall.

“Congratulations guys,” penned Vicky Pattison followed by a heart-eye emoji.

Adding: “Omg!!! Love the name.”

“LOVE THIS!” declared Joel Dommett, along with three in love emojis and a hands raised emoji.

“Congrats guys,” said Ashley Banjo, adding a praying hands and red love-heart emoji.

While the official Britain’s Got Talent account also weighed-in, writing: “Massive congratulations!” along with three red love-heart emojis.

Wilder's arrival came just two days after McPartlin joined his presenter partner Declan Donnelly at the BAFTA TV Awards, but left the ceremony solo.

McPartlin first broke his silence about becoming a dad for the first time in February as he discussed taking a break from hosting ITV show Saturday Night Takeaway after 20 years.

Speaking to Fault Magazine he admitted that both his and McDonnelly’s priorities had changed.

He said: “We [he and Donnelly] have both got children that we need to spend time with for a little bit.

“We need time to think and, and time to step back and look at the bigger picture and just see where we are now.”

Donnelly shares two children - Isla, age five, and Jack, one, with his wife Ali Astall.
