Another suspect in fatal 2021 Albuquerque house party shooting will stay in jail

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Another suspect accused of being involved in a deadly 2021 Albuquerque house party shooting will remain in custody. According to police, Johnny Lopez and five others fired around 200 bullets into a house party killing 16-year-old Gabriel Zimmerman and injuring ten other teens.

Suspect in 2014 Albuquerque murder arrested

The state has been asking for each suspect to be kept in custody with Lopez being the latest to appear in court. Judge Bruce Fox agreed to keep Lopez behind bars. His next court date has not been set.
