Another Miami-Dade city enacts a curfew. North Miami Beach is off limits overnight

Traveling in North Miami Beach past 10 p.m. will land you behind bars as the city put into effect a curfew on Tuesday.
The city said that every night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. no person should be parking or driving a car, or be outside under the new curfew, which was implemented following guidelines set by Miami-Dade County. The curfew is in effect until further notice.
The curfew effects all North Miami Beach restaurants, bars, clubs, patrons and residents, but there are exceptions. People providing police, fire or governmental services; transporting medical patients; or going to or returning from work will be allowed outside.
If a person, resident or visitor is found outside during curfew they can be arrested and could face criminal charges.
Also under the curfew, any place of “public assemblage” should be closed to the public between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
As of Tuesday, 195 Florida residents had confirmed cases of COVID-19, and 21 cases in non-Florida residents.
North Miami Beach is one of two cities in Miami-Dade County that have enacted a curfew.
On Monday, Key Biscayne implemented a citywide curfew, which is in effect daily between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. until further notice. Key Biscayne’s curfews exceptions are the same as North Miami Beach’s.
