Another $25,000 a year for life won in Ohio

(WJW) – Ohio beating the odds! Could it be the beginning of a winning streak?

The Ohio Lottery announced another Lucky For Life ticket worth $25,000 a year for life — or a one-time payment of $390,000 — was purchased in Ohio. This one was sold at a Circle K in Columbus and matched five out of five numbers in the April 16 drawing to win the game’s second prize.

Just last month, another Lucky For Life ticket sold in Ohio won the same prize. That ticket was purchased at Mickey Mart in Castalia.

The odds of winning the game’s second prize are just 1 in 1,813,028.

The winners have 60 days from the drawings to choose the annuity payments or the cash option and 180 days to validate and cash the ticket, according to the Ohio Lottery.

Lucky for Life drawings are held seven days a week. The top prize is $1,000 a day for life. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 30,821,472.
