Annual bun tower climb in Hong Kong

Climbing a giant tower of fake buns is not a big international sport, but once a year, on a small island in Hong Kong, it’s a big deal. The island is called Cheung Chau, and the whole event is designed to remember when the community recovered from a terrible plague, centuries ago. At the climax of the competition, a bunch of enthusiasts compete to climb a 14-metre tower decorated with around 9,000 plastic buns. (AP video by Alice Fung)
