Is it 2016 or 1996? Anna Kendrick Wore a Velvet Skater Dress and Crimped Hair to 'Trolls' Premiere
Anna Kendrick glammed it up for the premiere of her latest film, Trolls, in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The actress wore a blue velvet minidress adorned with crystal embellishments from Marc Jacobs’ Spring ’17 collection. The dress had billowy tied sleeves, an on-trend necktie, and an open back with a skater styled skirt line, which showed off her long legs. She opted for black skyscraper heels to complete the look.
Kendrick also focused on the details, middle parting her heavily crimped hair and tying it back into a sleek low pony tail. She stacked silver star-inspired earrings, which complemented the embellishments on her minidress, and opted for a dark smokey eye to emphasize her distinct blue peepers.
Kendrick is apparently a huge fan of the renowned American fashion designer. She also wore a red, white, and blue look from his Spring Summer 2016 collection to a Trolls promotional event at the 69th Cannes Film Festival in May.
Trolls, which the actress costars in with Justin Timberlake, is slated to release on Nov. 4, 2016.
