Angelica Duria, WITI-TV (Channel 6) morning news co-anchor and 'Real Milwaukee' co-host, is leaving TV for city job
Angelica Duria, who's been a reporter-anchor and co-host of "Real Milwaukee" at WITI-TV (Channel 6) for 12 years, is leaving the station and television news.
Duria said her goodbyes on "Real Milwaukee" Thursday morning, her last day at the Milwaukee Fox affiliate. She disclosed the news on social media Wednesday.
"With two young kids (a 3-year-old & a 5-month-old), I figured now is the right time to leave the early morning shift and focus on my family," she tweeted Wednesday.
On "Real Milwaukee" Thursday, she said she's taking a communications job with the city of Milwaukee.
Last time my kids will see me on tv.

Duria joined Channel 6 as a reporter in 2010. She joined the station's "Fox 6 Wakeup News" in 2013 and was added as a co-host of "Real Milwaukee," the lifestyle show that follows the station's morning newscast.
