It's a tale as old as time — just when you think you can't get any more nostalgic, something brings back all those happy childhood memories.

On Sunday, Angela Lansbury surprised the audience at the 25th anniversary screening of Beauty and the Beast, in New York's Alice Tully Hall, by singing the film's titular song.

In the film, Lansbury voiced Mrs. Potts, the castle's cook who was magically transformed into a teapot, who also sang the song.

Audience members were predictably enchanted by Lansbury's unexpected performance.
