Amy Schumer Shows Off Cupping Bruises and Underboob

What do Amy Schumer, Michael Phelps and Kim Kardashian have in common? Almost nothing. Except for that fact that they’ve all jumped on the cupping bandwagon.

Yep. Schumer is the latest celeb to try the healing trend, following in the footsteps of reality stars and athletes.

While there’s no actual confirmation that she tried cupping, the comedian posted a photo on Instagram of circular bruises on her ribs that look identical to Phelps’.

“#wcw my rib,” she wrote.

We’re not sure why she tried cupping, but considering she called out her rib specifically, she may have attempted the healing method after being hospitalized for bronchitis while shooting an upcoming movie with Goldie Hawn in Hawaii. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show Tuesday, Schumer explained that her cough was so violent, she actually fractured some of her ribs.

“I would have still gone to work, but the doctor, insurance wouldn’t clear me. I was really sick,” Schumer told Stern. “I’m making Goldie sit around. Goldie’s busy! It was one of the worst times of my life.”

Considering she missed dates shooting a movie and is still in pain, we’re not surprised she’s giving cupping a go.
