American Bully dogs missing from South Memphis home

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department is asking for help locating two dogs that appear to have been stolen from the front yard of a South Memphis home.

According to reports, officers responded to a home in the 1700 block of South Wellington Street on May 5. The victim told police that on April 29, he let his two American Bully dogs out in the front yard while he was working on a home in that area.

Reports say the man came back to the area a short time later and his two dogs were missing. A white four-door sedan, which police are calling the suspect vehicle, was reportedly seen leaving the area.

The brown and white Bully is named Nala and the gray and white Bully is named Zena. Police say both dogs are microchipped.

No arrests have been made. This is an ongoing investigation.
