Are Amber Heard and Elon Musk Hanging Out Amid Their Pending Divorces?

Elon Musk First Tried to Meet Amber Heard Four Years Ago Because He Found Her 'Interesting', Says Source

Is Amber Heard finding solace in Miami?

The actress, who is currently going through a contentious divorce from Johnny Depp, has allegedly been spending time with billionaire Elon Musk, according to multiple reports. An eyewitness confirms to PEOPLE that the two were spotted separately last weekend at the same luxurious hotel, the Delano South Beach. According to a hotel guest, Heard and Musk were seen, on separate occasions, in the hotel’s lobby.

Page Six reports that Musk and Heard were allegedly spotted coming in and out of each other’s rooms over the course of four days.

A rep for Musk confirmed to the paper that Musk was in Florida this past weekend for his SpaceX rocket launch at Cape Canaveral.

He tweeted photos from Cape Canaveral, which is home to the Kennedy Space Center and just over three hours from South Beach.

Heard, 30, and Musk, 45, have reportedly been friends for four years, according to Page Six, which also cites sources who claim that Heard was only using Musk’s room for extra privacy while she vacationed with her sister.

On the Tuesday, Musk wrote on Twitter that he was returning to California.

The Tesla founder is also going through a divorce – his second from actress Talulah Riley.

Musk first filed for divorce on New Year’s Eve 2014, but later withdrew the petition. Riley then filed, again, in the Los Angeles Superior Court in March, citing irreconcilable differences, according to the Associated Press.

The were first married in 2010, before divorcing in 2012 and remarrying a year later.

Heard filed for divorce from Depp in May, and was granted a temporary restraining order against the actor shortly after accusing him of physical abuse throughout their relationship.

In court documents responding to Heard’s request for a restraining order, Depp’s attorney, Laura Wasser, alleged that Heard “is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse.”

The temporary restraining order against Depp was reissued in June, and a court hearing for a permanent order has been scheduled for Aug. 15 and 16.
