Authorities reported she was last seen Friday, March 1 near Blue Fox Trail in Murfreesboro. On Friday, March 8, the TBI upgraded the Endangered Child Alert to an AMBER Alert “based on additional information developed during the search for 7 y/o Iris Crum and growing concern about her well-being.”

Iris was believed to be in the company of her non-custodial mother, 30-year-old Khaila Czereda, according to investigators.

The TBI said Khaila was wanted by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office for custodial interference and by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office in California for felony child abduction.
