Amazon and Whole Foods Cut Thanksgiving Prices
Amazon, fully anticipating your anxiety level as you prepare to host Thanksgiving, has lowered prices at Whole Foods Market. (You remember how Amazon bought Whole Foods: the avocados are cheaper, the aisles have Echos.) The price cuts cover popular items and "holiday staples," including select fresh organic and non-antibiotic turkeys, and are effective now.
For Whole Foods customers, organic turkeys are $3.49/lb, and non-antibiotic turkeys are $2.49/lb. Prime members can get a bigger discount: $2.99/lb for organic turkeys and $1.99/lb for non-antibiotic turkeys. (In the future, Prime membership will act as Whole Foods' reward program.) The turkeys can't be ordered for delivery, but they can be reserved online.
Other Thanksgiving foods are cheaper as well, including:
Value Pack Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (Organic and Non-Antibiotic)
Responsibly Farmed Raw Peeled Shrimp
365 Everyday Value Canned Pumpkin
Organic Broccoli
Organic Salad Mixes
Organic Russet Potatoes
Organic Sweet Potatoes
That ought to make planning and executing the Thanksgiving spread a little bit easier for everybody.
