Amazon will ride along with Ken Block in 8-part 'Gymkhana Files'

Yesterday we brought you the trailer for Ken Block's upcoming "Gymkhana 10." Today we have more word about the new Amazon Original Unscripted series hinted at in the trailer.

Amazon has green-lighted "The Gymkhana Files" as an eight-episode unscripted series produced by Hoonigan Media Machine. The series will offer a behind-the-scenes look into the making of "Gymkhana 10," and it will follow Block on a tour around the world with pitstops in five locations — including Detroit, where the trailer shows him screaming through otherwise closed-off downtown streets in the Hoonicorn V2, the customized Mustang-on-steroids he used for "Climbkhana" at Pikes Peak. It'll also feature untold stories and previously unseen footage from the previous nine "Gymkhana" films.

The "Gymkhana" series has attracted more than 500 million views and was named one of the "Top 10 Viral Video Advertisements of All Time" by AdAge, notes Deadline. A release date hasn't been announced, but it'll be available via Prime Video.
