The Black Friday sales are upon us and Amazon are going above and beyond, as per usual. In fact, the retail giant was responsible for introducing Black Friday to our shores at the start of the decade.

Since then, Amazon have held multi-day sales as early as two weeks in advance and encouraged many competitors to do the same. This week alone they've already released early deals for the Echo Dot, Fire Kids tablet and Kindle, among others.

Today's deals, however, are the most important of them all. Historically, they offer the biggest discounts on the most in-demand products across all major retailers. They also sell out incredibly fast. Hundreds of 'Lightning Deals' are released throughout the day (offers which only last a certain amount of time) and the best can be snapped up within minutes.

To help you get the best Lightning Deals and general Black Friday promotions Amazon has to offer, The Telegraph has chosen our top picks.
