Amanda Knox Is Found Not Guilty

After four years and one Lifetime original movie starring Hayden Panettiere, the Amanda Knox murder mystery has reached a final verdict. Knox, a student convicted of murdering her roommate Meredith Kercher while studying abroad in Perugia, Italy was found not guilty, reports ABC. The case, which involved two attractive young white women from privileged families and a possible satanic orgy naturally drew a lot of press. But the tension escalated when Americans, including U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell criticized the Italian judicial system. Knox has maintained her innocence since the initial verdict, but the prosecution characterized her as a "witch of deception." Knox gets an immediate release from prison and after three years, can head home.
