After many months away from Twitter, Amanda Bynes has begun using the social media service once again.

On Saturday, the actress, 27, Tweeted an update to her 3 million followers.

"Hi everyone!" she wrote. "I'm busy studying at @FIDM but I want to say I love you to my fans! Xoxo Amanda."

In addition to the new message - her first since completing an inpatient rehab program in December - the former Nickelodeon star wiped her Twitter slate clean, deleting two years' worth of bizarre and often mean-spirited messages (including Tweets calling Drake, Miley Cyrus, Chrissy Teigen, Lance Bass and others "ugly").

Bynes also changed her Twitter photo to a picture of one her school projects from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
