Amanda Bynes arrested for DUI
Amanda Bynes probably shouldn’t have quit acting.
And now that she’s been arrested for a DUI, she probably should quit drinking instead. According to TMZ, the “All That” actress was picked up in West Hollywood at 3 a.m. Friday morning for driving under the influence. People reports that Bynes collided with a police car, and was then taken into custody.
In 2010, the occasional actress, whose film credits include “What a Girl Wants” and “She’s The Man,” announced on Twitter that she was retiring from acting. A month after the announcement, the then-24-year-old Bynes had an apparent change of heart when she “unretired” from showbiz.
We bet if you “Ask Ashley” — Bynes’ popular character on the Nickelodeon version of SNL, she probably wouldn’t have predicted that she would eventually find herself behind bars.
Bail is set at $5,000. Apparently, the once popular actress isn’t all that anymore, because Bynes has yet to be released from jail.
