'I Am Ecstatic': Virginia Nursing Student Receives Coronavirus Vaccine
Frontline workers at the University of Virginia’s health system began receiving vaccinations for COVID-19 on December 15, according to the school.
This footage, released on December 17, shows Frankie Allen, a patient care technician and nursing student, receive the first dose of the two-shot Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
“I am ecstatic,” Allen said. “It’s pretty amazing what can be done when we all work together. I hope that everyone gets it.”
