Alsobrooks, Trone hit battleground counties amid early voting

With early voting underway across Maryland for the primary election, candidates for Maryland's open U.S. Senate seat campaigned in battleground territories. Elections officials told 11 News they anticipate an increase in foot traffic over the weekend. The two top-polling Democrats in the U.S. Senate primary race -- U.S. Rep. David Trone, D-District 6, and Prince George's County Executive Angela Alsobrooks -- are making their first run for statewide office. On Friday, they hit the ground campaigning for votes in the two major battlegrounds for the race, Baltimore and Prince George's counties.
