It's almost baseball season. Here's when you can buy tickets for Honey Hunters home games

Its debut season a smashing hit, what do the Gastonia Honey Hunters have in store for an encore?

Single-game tickets for the local Atlantic League of Professional Baseball club's second season go on sale Monday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available at the CaroMont Health Park box office (800 W. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia) or online. Season ticket and "mini" plans are also available.

The Honey Hunters’ 2022 home season gets underway on April 21, playing host to the Lancaster (Pennsylvania) Barnstormers. It is one of 66 games for the Gastonia baseball team this season, which it hopes will appeal to “students, families, millennials, boomers, sports enthusiasts and everyone in-between.”

First pitch for games Monday through Saturday will be at 6:15 p.m., with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Meanwhile, Sunday games will begin at 4:15 p.m., with gates opening at 3:30 p.m.
