Alleima adds jobs, improves facility

Jun. 6—Alleima, a global stainless steel and alloy manufacturer, recently created more than 50 new jobs and expanded its ability to produce additional stainless-steel alloys and smaller diameter tubing at its South Abington Twp. facility.

The improvements allow the company to serve a wide range of industries such as the chemical and petrochemical, fertilizer and other general manufacturing industries.

Alleima opened its location in the Ivy Industrial Park in 1971 under the name Sandvik Steel. The division for advanced steels and special alloys separated from the Sandvik Group in August 2022 and changed its name to Alleima.
