Allegiant Air resumes seasonal route from MidAmerica Airport

Allegiant Air announced Friday that the seasonal route from MidAmerica St. Louis Airport to Savannah, Georgia, has resumed.

The flights will operate up to twice weekly with nonstop service to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, the company said in a news release.

A chart on Allegiant.com showed that flights to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport were available on Mondays and Fridays.

“This is part of the airline’s latest seasonal expansion in 16 cities around the country,” the news release stated.

Allegiant also serves the following areas with flights out of MidAmerica: Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers/Punta Gorda, Orlando/Sanford, Sarasota/Bradenton, Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg and Jacksonville in Florida; Las Vegas, Nevada; Myrtle Beach in South Carolina; and Phoenix/Mesa in Arizona, according to the airport’s website.

Allegiant announced earlier this year that it will begin offering flights to McGhee Tyson Airport, which is near Knoxville, Tennessee, on June 13.
