Alkemy X Taps Veteran Cable TV Exec Andy Singer As EVP

Veteran cable TV exec Andy Singer has joined creative content company Alkemy X as EVP of Television and Digital Programming.

In his new role, Singer will work closely with President & CEO Justin B. Wineburgh to extend Alkemy X’s reach within original TV and digital content.

Singer most recently served as GM at Travel Channel, where he was behind such shows as Expedition Unknown, Hotel Impossible, and Bizarre Foods America. Prior to Travel Channel, Singer was General Manager and Head of Programming at DIY Network, overseeing the network’s rebrand and the launch of several hit series, including The Vanilla Ice Project, Rehab Addict, and the Crashers franchise.

Alkemy X’s portfolio of original TV series includes Food Network’s Restaurant Impossible with Robert Irvine, Food Feuds with Michael Symon; and Velocity’s Unique Rides with Will Castro. Repped by APA, the company also partners with networks and brand advertisers to produce commercial and branded content.
