Aljur Abrenica is inspired by Jericho Rosales

The actor shares why the "Walang Forever" star plays an important part in his decision to join showbiz

15 Nov – Actor Aljur Abrenica admitted that Jericho Rosales's performance in "Forevermore" is one of the factors that drove him to become an actor.

As reported on ABS-CBN, the actor recently confessed on the show "Umagang Kay Ganda" that Rosales, who was one of the most sought after star in the early noughties, indirectly inspired him to be an artiste, after he saw how much Rosales' acting was able to affect his mother's emotions.

"We were watching "Forevermore" and my mum was laughing and crying, and all sorts of mixed emotions. I saw that and said to myself, I want to be like that," he said.

The former Kapuso star, who joined ABS-CBN this year, also stated that it has been his dream to one day work with Rosales, especially now that they are in the same network.

On the other hand, Abrenica said that he is grateful with the recent development of his career with the Kapamilya network.

"At this time of my life, I am happy and my family is happy too," he said.
